Registration Process

Welcome to Little Falls Community Schools. We are glad you are here! Little Falls offers a comprehensive education E-12 program with big school resources in a small school setting.

Enrollment is processed electronically through our Skyward Family Access system for new families. Using a computer/laptop, please follow the instructions below to get started!

Please note that students currently enrolled in the Little Falls Community School District will be automatically enrolled for the 2025–2026 school year. Parent(s)/guardian(s) do not need to complete a new enrollment application.

Step 1: Registration

New Families to the Little Falls Community School District need to create a new Skyward Account by doing the following:

Use a valid email address and Request skyward family access for temporary login credentials to the Skyward Family Access online enrollment.
After filling out the request form, you will receive an email with your Skyward enrollment application credentials and a link to the enrollment application.

Fill out a hard copy PDF form found below. Only one process is necessary. Once completed, please email to registration@lfalls.k12.mn.us

Step 2: Required Forms

After finishing the online registration process, please mail or deliver supporting documents to your students school, after August 1st.

Birth Certificate
Immunization Records
Health Forms
- The Confidential Health Form is required, and you can also download the Medication Administration Authorization and Food Accommodation forms
Application for Educational Benefits
- Although no application is required to receive this free meal benefit, filling out the Application for Educational Benefits is still important! Your child(ren) may qualify for other benefits like reduced fees at school. Your application may also help the school qualify for education funds, discounts, and other meal programs.

Please include the following, if applicable:

IEP/Special Education Records
Legal Guardian Relationship Verification
- Only legal parents should enroll a student. If you are not the legal parent of this student, one of the following documents will be required:
  - Legal Guardian - Legal court documentation
  - Foster - Legal court documentation or foster placement letter from the county social worker
  - Court Orders - Documents related to guardianship or custody limitations, if applicable

Step 3: Transportation Form

All public and non-public students are required to register online for transportation annually, whether public transportation is needed or not needed for your student(s).

Students are allowed only ONE pick up and ONE drop off location which must be the same every day. Exceptions may be granted if listed in an IEP or other legal court documents.

Step 4: After Enrollment Submission

Once the registration form is submitted and reviewed, the schools will contact families directly to set up building tours, course registration, etc. Please allow time between the application date and enrollment start date for these steps to be completed.

After the enrollment process is complete, Skyward Family Access is used to connect parents/guardians with real-time information regarding their student’s academic profile.
